Wines and Wineries
Famous for their wines was Akanthos (now Ierissos) and Afytis (now Afitos), also in Stagira, the birthplace, Aristotle planted the first vineyard pattern.
Today the vineyard is cultivated in central and north Halkidiki, Sithonia and Mount Athos.
Tsantali Agios Pavlos Winery
The family tradition Tsantali starts in 1890 when he began to cultivate vineyards in Eastern Thrace, making wine grapes and distilling raki and ouzo.
